Michael Bumb
Michael Bumb has more than 20 years of professional experience in senior positions in the financial industry - with a proven track record in risk management, strategy and regulatory implementation at the highest level. Most recently, he was Executive Director and Head of Division within the Group Enterprise Risk Organization of Credit Suisse and UBS. Among other things, he was responsible for the Group-wide ERM strategy, major regulatory projects and the management of relevant committees such as the Board Risk Committee and FINMA dialogues. As former Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the Group Risk Committee and Corporate Secretary of several Board of Directors and Executive Committees, he not only has a deep understanding of risk and capital, but also of governance, communication and structure. Michael Bumb is not only analytically adept, but also pragmatic in implementation - whether in the development of internal control systems, the structuring of regulatory proposals or strategic advice to management boards. His clients value his independence, his ability to implement and his ability to get to the heart of complex issues. He always acts discreetly, with integrity and a fine sense of dynamics and timing.
