Platform
Aragon eXeed is an independent advisory and delivery platform based in Baar, Canton of Zug. We work for banks, financial intermediaries, FinTechs and digital asset firms that want to translate regulatory requirements into structures that last.
The model
At the centre stands the founder's experience: around 20 years in regulated financial services, including 18 years with Credit Suisse and UBS at Executive Director level, with a direct interface to FINMA and to the governance of the Board Risk Committee. Since 2024, this has been complemented by building a MiCAR-regulated digital asset exchange in Liechtenstein and the external Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) role under FMA supervision, a competence that flows into our mandates.
Around this core, Aragon eXeed works with a curated ecosystem: specialised law firms in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany, RegTech partners for blockchain analytics, Travel Rule and identity verification, and experienced specialists for niche topics. We staff mandates the way the topic demands: as a single mandate, as a team, or in co-delivery with established advisory and audit firms. You hold one conversation, we orchestrate the rest.
How we work
We accept mandates where we can make a difference, and decline where we cannot.
We are tied to no product, no audit firm and no vendor. Our recommendations follow the matter alone.
Many of our mandates are confidential. We name references only with explicit consent.
We keep our commitments on content, quality and timing.
About the founder
Michael Bumb holds a degree in business administration (Universität des Saarlandes) and an MBA (University of Colorado Denver), with an additional qualification in AML & Due Diligence (University of Liechtenstein). After 18 years of Enterprise Risk Management with Credit Suisse and UBS, most recently as Executive Director, he co-built a MiCAR-regulated digital asset exchange in Liechtenstein and was responsible for its governance, risk and compliance architecture, including the authorisation process with the FMA. Today he brings the external MLRO competence under FMA supervision into mandates. Partnerships exist with Scorechain, 21Analytics and Sumsub; hands-on experience exists with ComplyAdvantage, Chainalysis and Elliptic.
